CHANGES TO THE SELECTION POLICY FOR PLAYERS REPRESENTING AUSTRALIA

The PFA board has received confirmation from the FIPJP that for all future international events, players must be holders of the passport of the country they are representing.

Previously we have been able to send some players in an Australian team who were permanent residents of Australia but not citizens. This will no longer be allowed.

The message is now clear; if you were born in another country and wish to play for Australia you must become an Australian citizen and get an Australian passport.
