RAC WA SPORTS STAR AWARDS 2018
The RAC WA Sports Star Awards 2018 was held at Optus Stadium on 7th February 2019. It was a great night to recognise all the nominees from various sports across WA. Krishika Ramjuttun was the youngest nominee from Petanque WA. It was a moment of glory for krishika to be acknowledged with the presence of 550 guests from different sports across WA. Congratulations to all nominees and winners in WA.

BONJOUR PERTH FESTIVAL 2018
Bonjour Perth French Festival held on 10th & 11th November 2018 at Market Square Park, Subiaco. For the two days festival, they had close to 22,000 visitors. It was a good opportunity for Petanque WA to show the public our fantastic game of Petanque as a sport. As usual, we did our Petanque demo where the public had a good interest and for the first we have organised a mini Petanque Competition and 16 teams had registered online. It was a big success. It attracted many spectors to watch the games.

HAVE A GO DAY 2018
Have A Go Day was held on Wednesday 14 November 2018 at Burswood Park by the Seniors Recreation Council of WA Inc. It was a successful day of promoting Petanque. Age is no barrier for the seniors to get involved in sport & recreation activities.
Congratulations to Merle Stilfall of Belmont who was the lucky winner of the set of Petanque boules.
Thank you all those members from WA Petanque Clubs who helped for the day.
