CLUB NOTICES
R.I.P. Bernie Doyle
Clochemerle Club is saddened to record the passing of their co-founder Bernie Doyle. For many years he held office not only on Clochemerle’s Committee but that of PWA, where long-time President Val Gridley recalls he gave invaluable support, combining a wealth of procedural knowledge with diligence, and a great sense of humour. Not keen on formal competitions, Bernie was an enthusiastic and competent social player and bon vivant until ill health curtailed activity in recent years. Clochemerle’s first Life Member, Bernie was also well-known in jazz and theatre circles as a highly talented performer and writer. Vale Bernie, you will be missed.

PWA AWARDS
On Sunday 8th December 2019, there will be a presentation for the mens and womens champions for 2019 at Subiaco Petanque Club and commencing at 11.00am.

PWA FUN DAY - 20TH CELEBRATIONS
When: Sunday 21st January 2018
Time: 11am
Where: Manning Park - Azeila Rd, Hamilton Hill
We will be celebrating PWA’s 20th anniversary. The ‘Player Of The Year’ awards will be presented at the same time.
This will not be a competition but rather a fun day combined with a BYO picnic and BBQ. There will be lots of petanque related activities for the whole family so bring the kids along too…
