Caulfield International Open Doubles will be held on the 9th & 10th February 2019 at Caulfield Park Petanque Club in Melbourne. The 12th International Pan Pacific tournament was held on the 24th & 25th November 2018 at Weird Entertainers Petanque Club in Melbourne. 23 teams competed from six Pacific countries. Congratulations to the winners and those who participated. Have A Go Day was held on Wednesday 14 November 2018 at Burswood Park by the Seniors Recreation Council of WA Inc. It was a successful day of promoting Petanque. Age is no barrier for the seniors to get involved in sport & recreation activities.

Bonjour Perth French Festival held on 10th & 11th November 2018 at Market Square Park, Subiaco. For the two days festival, they had close to 22,000 visitors. It was a good opportunity for Petanque WA to show the public our fantastic game of Petanque as a sport. Players may be aware that following the recent State Inter-Club competition, in which La Maison de France club was initially declared the winner, a protest was lodged with PWA by Bayswater Petanque Club who is the runners-up.
